Prof. Patricia Spyer (The Graduate Institute Geneva) will talk about her new book Orphaned Landscapes: Violence, Visuality, and Appearance in Indonesia (Fordham University Press 2021).

Prof. Henk Schulte Nordholt (KITLV) and Drs. Wim Manuhutu (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) will act as discussants.

This book discussion will be a hybrid event, both in Leiden and online via Zoom from 13.30 h – 15.00 h CET.
